"Insidious" (tt1591095), Josh (Patrick Wilson) and Renai (Rose Byrne) have moved into an old house with their three children, leading a happy family life. That is until their youngest child falls into a coma after an accident. From then on, mysterious and supernatural events start to occur. Josh and Renai must save their son from the "further" - the other world. The film features the producer of "Paranormal Activity," Oren Peli, along with Jason Blum and Steven Schneider. This trio is also behind the production of "Paranormal Activity 2," which was released in competition with "Saw 3D" on October 22nd. Director James Wan and writer Leigh Whannel, who collaborated on the iconic "Saw" series in 2004, reunite for a new project. The duo later worked together on another successful horror film, "Dead Silence," known for its solid screenplay and memorable, surprising endings. They kickstarted the "Saw" franchise, which eventually became one of the important horror-thriller classics in cinema history.
